Cancellation Policy

1:1 Healing Treatments and Soul Speak coaching appointment cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance will be 100% refunded. Your refund will be processed and appear on your statement in 5-10 business days.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours of your appointment will be charged at 100% of the session price. However exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies. Please contact us via the Contact Menu on this Website.

While there are times that cancelling an appointment is unavoidable, please aim to give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to other clients. 

Exception: If you are sick, please give as much notice as possible. You will not be charged for a cancellation due to illness. Please do not come into your session if you are showing any signs of being unwell. Likewise, if you have been exposed to Covid-19, please contact me to reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations for group events are non-refundable.

Appointment No-shows

No-shows will be subject to a fee of 100% of the total cost of the session. No-shows for online circles and group events are non-refundable. However, exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies. Please contact us via the Contact Menu on this Website.

Appointment Late arrivals

If you are late to your appointment, your session will be shortened by the length of time by which you were late. (e.g. 15 minutes late on a 60 minute appointment, your session will run for 45 minutes). If you are late, you will still be charged for the full session.

What if we need to cancel your 1:1 booking?

In the highly unlikely event that we need to cancel your session, we will give you as much notice as possible and either provide you with a full refund if we are unable to transfer your booking to a suitable, alternative date.

Client Agreement

It is my choice to receive massage therapy and bodywork. I am aware of the benefits and risks of massage and give my consent to receive treatment. I understand that there is no guarantee of success or effectiveness of individual techniques or series of appointments. I acknowledge that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care, medical examination or diagnosis. I will state all medical conditions that I am aware of and will inform my practitioner of any changes in my health status. I understand that the Eliza Volk Healing Arts has provided this form as a reference and is not held liable for any services provided.

Assignment of Benefits

I am responsible for all charges for the service provided. All sessions require a credit card on file to hold your appointment, yet payment can be made either beforehand or at the time of the session.

Privacy 

Information shared during your sessions is strictly confidential. Confidentiality will be suspended only in the following cases: 1) you report immediate suicidal or homicidal thinking, 2) you report abuse or neglect of a child, dependent or adult, 3) court order, 4) you report anything that causes concern for the health and safety of you or others.

Covid policy

Masks are not currently required, yet are recommended. Please ask if you would like me to wear a mask while we work. I am happy to do so. Occasionally, mask wearing may be mandated, depending on the current covid rates and my upcoming travel plans. I will give you advance notice if masks will be required in your session. If this is the case, you will only need to wear a mask when you are face up, as I will have a covering for the face cradle when you are face down.

Contract for Care

I will participate fully as a member of my health and wellness. I will make sound choices regarding my session plans, based upon the information provided by Eliza Volk Healing Arts. I agree to participate in my own self-care and adhere to the plan we select. I agree to communicate with my practitioner any time I feel my well-being may be compromised. I expect my practitioner to provide safe and effective treatment to the best of their skills and knowledge.

I acknowledge that my therapist has given me an appointment time that is exclusively reserved for me. Failure to provide 24 hours notice of cancellation may result in my account being charged 100% for the therapist’s time.
